Snappy connects tennis players with racket stringers. This policy says what we collect, why, who else processes it, and how to have it deleted. It covers the app and this website.
What we collect, and why

| Email address | Sign-in, and sending you receipts and order updates. Verified and held by Clerk. |
| Phone number | Optional. So a stringer can reach you about a drop-off or a pickup. |
| Approximate location | To show stringers near you and estimate distance. Never shared with other players. |
| Age | To tailor tension and string suggestions. Never shown to other players. |
| Your rackets, strings and orders | The service itself — the record of what was strung, when, and for how much. |
| Photos you take of a racket or a reel | Sent to Google Gemini for identification and not stored by us afterwards. |
| App activity | Which screens and actions are used, so the operator can tell whether a change helped or hurt. |
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
What other people see
A stringer you send an order to sees your name, your contact details, the racket and the terms of that order. Other players never see your contact details, your age or your location. A stringer's public profile shows only what that stringer chose to publish.
Who processes it
- Clerk — Accounts, sign-in, and the verified email address
- Turso — The database everything above is stored in
- Vercel — Hosting, and storage for logos and images
- Resend — Sending receipts and notification emails
- Google Gemini — Identifying a racket or a string reel from a photo you take
- Firebase Cloud Messaging — Push notifications to your device
How long we keep it
Your account and its records are kept while the account exists. Delete your account and we delete your profile, rackets, saved locations, advisor history and order drafts. Completed orders and receipts are kept by the stringer who performed them, as their own business records.
Age
Snappy is not intended for children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can edit or clear your profile in the app at any time, and deleting your account removes the data listed above. Notifications and location are both permissions you grant and can withdraw in your device settings. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, contact us.
